Taste of Brookwood is right around the corner!
We need YOUR Silent Auction Items!
Here are some items that have been SUCCESSFUL at the auction:
- Handmade Items - Afghans, Crafts etc. Theme Baskets - We already have one BROOKWOOD themed basket. The more the merrier!
- Movie Theme: Get a theater to donate tickets & add soda and popcorn.
- Avenue Theme: Go to the stores in the Avenue and ask each for a product or gift card donation. Combine all in a basket. (Do this for Target, Verizon or any Strip Mall)
- Certificates : Go to a business and ask for a donation. New London Driving School is a POPULAR item. (I believe they have already offered their donation for this year)
- Hotels, Restaurants... They'll often donate certificates. Be Creative... Your imagination will add more value than you know!
There is a lot of prep work required to make this successful, so We need ITEMS BROUGHT TO THE SCHOOL DURING THE CONCERT CAMPS on February 27th. Financial Breakdown: First $10 goes to the band. The remainder raised is split: 85% to your band account and 15% to the band. This is a GREAT Opportunity to offset your band costs while contributing to the band at the same time!
